In September 1999, a bold venture was launched in Limonade, the creation of the socio-sport-culture association with a multi-sport purpose called FEMINA. A dream was already budding in the minds of the leaders: to promote and develop women's judo in the area and to transform Limonade into a true women's judo city as a reference structure.

And the dream was about to become a reality with the birth of the Judo Club FEMINA in June 2000. But a reality that would surpass the dream with the emergence of numerous talents on the national sports scene that FEMINA dominated for an entire decade. An explosive first decade during which Haitian women's judo experienced international growth at all levels—regional, continental, global, and even Olympic—with the unforgettable national champions all hailing from Limonade: Nadjeda Gena, Darlyng Genard, Caline and Youdeline Siméon, Ange Mercie Jean-Baptiste, Edeline Bien-Aimé, Gerdine and Juna Mathieu, Nadège Moïse, Evelyne Duverné.

The 2nd decade also promised to be flourishing with new stars from Limonade such as Dodelie and Dieulourdes Joseph, Saphena Cadet, Phara Pierre, Jenniflore Vincent, Genita Pierre, Incanise Bernadin, Guerline Auguste, while other stars also shone in Cap-Haitien, Trou du Nord, in the West and the South.

But the supremacy of Femina began to decline starting in 2017 against the Jose Marti clubs from PAP and Shino Shindo from TDN.

In the meantime, the originally female club was transforming into a mixed club with the emergence of young male talents such as Daniel Genna, Stanley and Carlo Marcelin, Myrtho Cadet, Clenford Charles, Lily and Nono Néré, Stevenson Pierre, Kesnel Louis, Wilson Moïse, Raphaël Rousseau, Francilo Chérubin, Ricardo Elizé, Maslin Valestin, Williamson Alexis.

Judo Club FEMINA, in full decline since 2017, is slowly waking up with a new dynamic for a resurgence towards the peaks, first regionally and nationally, before going "higher, further" according to its motto. The organization of its 20th anniversary was a trigger.

It is worth noting his international record of 106 medals, including 33 gold.

Vision of FEMINA: To become a reference structure for practicing sports under ideal conditions

Philosophy of FEMINA: based on active and effective Solidarity according to its 3 Golden Principles: Discipline-Order-Respect.

Current mission of FEMINA: Preach the Gospel of Sport for the construction, development, and strengthening of inter-associative, sports-cultural partnerships, the promotion of a better-organized practice of sport, and the integral development of youth.

New motto of FEMINA: EVERYTHING THROUGH, FOR, IN, WITH, AND IN SPORTS, IN DISCIPLINE, ORDER, AND RESPECT

GOSPEL OF WOMEN'S MULTISPORTS

Based on the promotion of sports practice and the harmonization of human relations for sustainable human development, and after field experience through a long tour of over 3 years across different municipalities in various departments, the Sports Gospel was conceived and published on January 1, 2019.

Vision: To build the complete Haitian man through sports, ready physically, mentally, and spiritually to become a citizen, patriot, committed, convinced, supportive, and responsible.

Mission: The sports gospel of FMS is quadriaxial. These 4 axes are:

1- the promotion of sports practice,

2- the application of values related to the Bible, Olympism, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Moral Code of Jigoro Kano

3- inter-associativity (development of inter-associative partnership) and

4- Intercommunal cooperation (development of intercommunal partnership).

Parallel to Judo, the multi-sport vocation has continued its path with:

❖ Creation of FEMINA TAEKWONDO CLUB on April 30, 2011

❖ Creation of FEMINA SHOTOKAN KARATE DO on June 10, 2012

❖ Creation of FEMINA BOXING CLUB on November 29, 2014

❖ Creation of FEMINA PING PONG CLUB on July 26, 2015

❖ Introduction of WE CAN DANCE FEMINA with gymnastics and Hip Hop dance in 2016

Taekwondo and Shotokan are on hold. Gymnastics and Table Tennis are on hold.

Boxing with FEMINA BOXING CLUB has been the most active discipline since 2014, with an 8-year record that is more or less satisfactory despite its internal problems and the constraints of the governing body, FHBOX:

1-Continuous recruitment of new athletes

2-Participation in two national championships, interschool and interclub.

3-Special attention to women's boxing

4-Organization of training seminars

5-Organization of internal and inter-associative mini-tournaments

6-Organization of 3 international tournaments

7-Integration of boxing at Carrefour des Pères (Milot) and Labelliney (Limonade)

8-Organization of Training Camp

9-Participation in the 18 May Tournament by invitation from Les Cayes in 2018
